Workshops with young people
Futures' Education Programme runs throughout the year. We deliver drama workshops supporting our touring productions and also stand alone workshop programmes. We work in mainstream schools, pupil referral units, special needs schools and in various community settings engaging children and young people.
Futures aims to create a safe environment in all workshops, allowing participants a space to explore the issues which they may face daily. These include:
- Drug Awareness
- Mental Health
- Domestic Violence
- Sexual Relationships
- Conflict Resolution
- Racism
- Bullying
- Personal Safety
Futures specialise in creating bespoke workshop programmes. Programmes are written in consultation with teaching staff, youth workers and/or group leaders to meet PSHE/Citizenship standards. They are evaluated throughout and the impact of the work is measured against the initial aims set by the partners.
