Workshops
Futures’ Education Programme runs throughout the year, delivering drama workshops to children and young people. We work with young people both in and out of mainstream education, pupil referral units, special needs schools and in various community settings.
Futures aims to create a safe environment in all workshops, allowing young people a space to explore the issues which they may face daily. Workshops focus on a variety of issues:
- Drug Awareness
- Mental Health
- Domestic Violence
- Sexual Relationships
- Conflict Resolution
- Racism
- Bullying
- Personal Safety
Futures specialise in creating bespoke workshop programmes designed with young people at the centre of the process. Programmes are written in consultation with teaching staff, youth workers and/or group leaders to meet PSHEE/Citizenship standards. They are evaluated throughout and the impact of the work is measured against the initial aims set by the partners.
