Training Newly Qualified Social Workers
Futures currently deliver training for Newly Qualified Social Workers in the London boroughs of Haringey, Camden, Islington and Barnet. In 2009 Futures were approached by these boroughs to deliver training for their teams of NQSWs to support their professional development whilst participating on the CWDC and Skills for Care pilot programmes. Futures continue to develop and deliver training for professionals working in children's and adult's services.
As part of this training Futures deliver interactive sessions helping social workers develop their skills for working in a professional environment exploring assertiveness, professional boundaries and providing a safe environment for NQSWs to explore, share best practice and build confidence.
